Thanks Lionel. Brilliant podcasting and coverage as always, and a really nice insight in to what makes the tour, and cycling, so special to you. Your passion for it really shines through, chapeau to you and the rest of team.

Thank you Lionel for a lovely 11.01 cappuccino from this week. Reminded me of my father, who passed away a few years ago as well as spending time with my own 22 year old often talking about European and english football/soccer, cycling and even F1. A point of commonality across generations.

Also a big thanks for the incredible tour coverage wirh you and your guests, especially FT. He is so much fun to listen to and one often learns much from FT and your conversations. I will miss his incredible contributions to TCP. I do hope he joins you for many guest appearances in the future. Yes it has been a great tour and as it draws to a close gradually I am getting depressed knowing the daily drama and especially daily news, chats and banter of TCP will be reduced to just weekly episodes.

Thank you again for all you and your crews' efforts.

All hail the cycling podcast...

Oh m’y goodness it sounds like a very stressful few days. I hope it chills out a bit and the crowds disperse a little.

I feel we have been incredibly spoilt with this year’s coverage. Mitch and Boz are becoming such talented and professional journalists, and Lizzy has such a unique and interesting perspective, even when she is croaking. The kilometre zero episodes have been so absorbing - from Francois’ memories to the diving into l’équipe and l’écrivain. Thank you so much for a brilliant coverage.

Lionel: you write beautifully - I really look forward to the 11.01 missives. Your crew of co-podsters have been great. I will miss your voice when it is over. I am sure you look forward to going home. I acknowledge your loss of your dad and your deep feelings as each anniversary moment is upon you. Thank you for sharing your humanity.

Have you considered the idea of writing a biography of Richard Moore? It is perhaps too soon to contemplate but your storytelling and writing skill are a match for the subject matter.

Thanks for slipping in some Daniel ITV interview questions in the podcast. He gets right to the point.

Cheers from the mountains of Colorado and upstate NY where I listen to The Cycling Podcast.

Great to hear the different presenters and perspectives this year. I love the personality that Mitch brings to the pod and it’s refreshing to get such a focus on the sprints. Boz brings a perspective of a different type of cyclist and a lovely gentle sense of humour. Lizzy is just a great podcaster, interesting opinions and clear analysis.

Lovely piece Lionel. Very poignant to read of the genesis of your interest in Le Tour and those happy memories of your Dad. That’s what it’s all about really isn’t it? The logistics on the Tour sound like some craic, but do make for entertaining reading! Will there be a Tour diary this year?

Amazing coverage

One quick gripe , you can’t argue that Poj looked tired and then question why he didn’t attack from 80k

Think those points were made the other way round. Lizzy Banks asked why Pogačar didn't attack from 10km out a few days ago, before the time trial.
